Hey, I’m Kaitie…..
* Independent Support Coordinator * Administration * Founder - Owner *
Hey, I’m Kaitie.
I am a 27-year-old Neurodivergent Mum of 2, 9 years & 7 years.
Both of my kids are also Neurodivergent in different but similar ways.
I believe that I am a very easy to talk to person that will never judge but always do what I can to help and those I connect with.
While also being EXTREMELY Justice Sensitive, I aim to always work within my own limits and also the limits of those I support (In saying that though I don’t like “giving up” so my persistence can be something to always rely on).
I am a Pure Australian and believe that even though my role in your life may be a professional one, I am 110% open to (for lack of a better term) “Spicy Language” while communicating with me so please don’t ever be afraid to throw an F-Bomb my way or however else you feel like you need to express yourself in the moment.
I WILL NEVER JUDGE YOU!
Conditions I work with, understand and ultimately where I have the most knowledge are
- Autism Spectrum Disorder
- Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)
- Oppositional Defiance Disorder (ODD)
- Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) including those that are Complex in nature
- Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD)
- Ehlers Danlos Syndrome (EDS) including Hypermobile Ehlers Danlos Syndrome (hEDS)
- Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome (POTS)
- Myalgic Encephalomyelitis / Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (ME/CFS)
- Mast Cell Activation Syndrome (MCAS)
- Global Developmental Delay (GDD)
I opened The Thrive Tribe Support Coordination to fill the gap in available and appropriate Support Coordinators on the Central Coast of NSW.
My intention is to be that person to provide the Knowledge and Support that I didn’t have access too when I first started my NDIS Journey as a Parent Nominee.
I am very open to always learning something new so please don’t be afraid to reach out even if the above doesn’t quite fit with your situation.
At the moment, I am a One-Man Team, but I do intend to hire and train new potential Support Coordinators and Psychosocial Recovery Coaches in the near future. I also intend to expand The Thrive Tribe’s offered services by having teams of Support Workers, Allied Health Professional’s, Nurses and so much more. I hope to be able to have these services Nation Wide as we grow, that will take some time though.
I look forward to working with participants and/ or Parents from all over Australia as a Fully Remote Support Coordinator but also with those local to me potentially needing Face-To-Face supports such as Plan Review Meetings or Planning Meetings with an LAC.
